The Eighth Lamp engraved print, dimensions variable, 2021 – ongoing
The Eighth Lamp project, launched in 2021, draws inspiration from John Ruskin’s The Seven Lamps of Architecture (1849) and ideally aims to continue its narrative within my own present.
Through these photographic series (lamps), the work investigates the relationship between memory, matter, and transformation, reinterpreting tangible and intangible heritage as a space for reflecting on the future.

The Legacy  lamp (2024) brings memory and technology into dialogue, transforming abandoned rural dwellings into archives capable of suggesting new forms of coexistence between human experience and artificial intelligence. The Sustainability Lamp (2024), inspired by an ancient cookbook, transforms vintage objects into a domestic archive that reflects on food reuse as an ethical and sustainable act through the technical drawing of a doggy bag. The Reminiscence Lamp (2023) utilizes light, reflected shadow, painted glass, and photography to show how the stones of ancient walls reveal that stillness is merely an illusion. The Resource Lamp (2023) uncovers the generative potential of construction debris, converting waste into new design possibilities through a dialogue with technology. Finally, the Permanence Lamp (2021-2022) stems from a research project on the landscape and memory of the village of Petacciato, in Molise. Through a visual inquiry that combines photographic documentation and artistic intervention, images of ruins are reworked to introduce a new three-dimensional space that can still serve as a catalyst for regeneration today, offering an incentive to rethink the future.

Ottava Lampada stampa incisa, dimensioni variabili, 2021 - ongoing
Il progetto Ottava Lampada, avviato nel 2021, trae ispirazione da Le Sette Lampade dell’Architettura (1849) di John Ruskin e si propone idealmente di proseguirne il racconto nel mio presente.

Attraverso queste serie fotografiche (lampade), il lavoro indaga il rapporto tra memoria, materia e trasformazione, reinterpretando il patrimonio materiale e immateriale come spazio di riflessione sul futuro.

Lampada del Lascito (2024) mette in dialogo memoria e tecnologia trasformando dimore rurali abbandonate in archivi capaci di suggerire nuove forme di coesistenza tra vissuto umano e intelligenza artificiale. Lampada della Sostenibilità (2024), ispirata a un antico ricettario, trasforma oggetti vintage in un archivio domestico che riflette sul riuso del cibo come gesto etico e sostenibile attraverso il disegno tecnico di una doggy bag. Lampada della Reminiscenza (2023) utilizza luce e ombra riflessa, vetro dipinto e fotografia per mostrare come le pietre dei muri antichi raccontino come la fissità sia solo apparenza. Lampada della Risorsa (2023) rivela il potenziale generativo delle macerie edili, convertendo lo scarto in nuove possibilità progettuali attraverso il dialogo con la tecnologia. Lampada della Permanenza (2021-2022) infine, nasce da una ricerca sul paesaggio e sulla memoria del borgo di Petacciato, in Molise. Attraverso una ricerca visiva che combina documentazione fotografica e intervento artistico, le immagini delle rovine vengono rielaborate introducendo un nuovo spazio tridimensionale che può ancora oggi essere spunto di rigenerazione, offrendo un incentivo per ripensare il futuro.
