The light that emanates from works of art is a litmus test for measuring what we have been, what we could become, and what we are today. Tela d’Ombra reflects on the precariousness and fragility of the world that hosts us one we should learn to respect, aware that resources are not infinite and that every action we take carries consequences for someone else. And today, that “someone else” is us.
Once the shadows have dissipated, the only thing that remains is the legacy we leave to future generations. I organized everything as a self-portrait, using the natural light from my windows and inserting a canvas that becomes a layer, a division, a barrier. By becoming shadow, I was no longer myself, but a correlative of humanity. In front of me lay the real world the one I wish to heal and through the insertion of works of art, I aim to evoke the illusion of a new awareness. My gestures become symbols to denounce what I care about most: Art and the Environment.

La luce che emana dalle opere d'arte è la cartina di tornasole per misurare cosa siamo stati, cosa potremmo essere e cosa siamo oggi. Tela d’Ombra riflette sulla precarietà e fragilità del mondo che ci ospita e che dovremmo imparare a rispettare, coscienti che le risorse non sono illimitate ed ogni nostra azione non resta senza conseguenze per qualcun altro e, oggi, l'altro siamo noi. Dissipate le ombre l'unica cosa che rimane è l'eredità che lasciamo alle future generazioni. Ho organizzato il tutto in autoscatto, ho sfruttato la luce delle mie finestre inserendo una tela che si fa strato, divisione, barriera. Diventando ombra non ero più io, ma correlativo dell’umanità. Davanti, invece, la realtà vera, quella a cui vorrei apporre rimedio e attraverso l’innesto di opere d’arte suscitare l'illusione di una nuova consapevolezza. I miei gesti si fanno simbolo per denunciare ciò che mi sta più a cuore, l’Arte e l'Ambiente.
